the most consistent brand is shu uemura. you can get them at sephora or at department stores. they are a bit expensive at around $18 sometimes other brands work as well. it depends on what look you are going for. you need to look for more natural looking ones regardless of length and just avoid the nasty plastic ones. well you could use the plastic ones for practice. target has cheap and nice falsies too. you can also try using individual lashes. the best lash glue is duo adhesive.
you can start by curling your real lashes,
then apply a bit of glue to the base of the falsies (all over but not too much) wave them around for about 5 seconds to make the glue a bit tacky.
place them on top of your lash line(where your real lashes start to grow).
you can move them around to get them into place.
if its a more realistic/natural lash you add mascara to your real lashes to merge the real and the fake.
sometimes the lashes are to big and so you may have to fit them to your eyes and trim the sides.
adding individual lashes are a bit different.
take the lash with a tweezer
add some glue on a plastic container
dip the end of the lash in the glue and wave them around for a good 3-5 seconds.
add the lash to the areas of your lashline.
it might be easier to apply falsies with tweezers. it depends on the person really but tweezers are a great help for smaller lashes.
you can also cut one lash into half and apply to the outer corners of your eyes. practice makes perfect.
falsies are best paired with liquid/gel liner. What are the best false eyelashes to buy and how does one apply them?
Id hae to say the best ones ive tried are the single lashes that you glue on individually. I know eyelure and other makeup brands sell then now. They give such a natural look and canlast up to 3 weeks! What are the best false eyelashes to buy and how does one apply them?
I use false lashes regularly on my clients and have used everything from the very expensive to the super cheap. My favourites, in no particular order are: Sephora ($8), ELF ($1) and MAC (not sure of the price). It depends on the kind of look you are going for. ELF is great for just enhancing what you have and is the most natural. MAC has several to choose from. For me personally (and I have access to any of the brands) I go with ELF because then I do not feel guilty about trashing them after a use. Sephora has a great kit under their name too.
Hope this helps!
Good luck :)

How can i put on false eyelashes?
I'm really really bad at putting them on, and i have this beautiful pair that i wanna wear for my friends birthday party night soon. I can't do it with tweezers as i find it too fiddly, and when they say start from the inside and work your way out i can't do that either. I just can't seem to get them to stay down or even remotely shape to my eye lid properly. Can anybody help a novice out? Thanks! =)How can i put on false eyelashes?
try youtube there will be loads of videos showing you ho to apply them .
its better to be able to see how to apply them then get someonee to tell you.
Good luckHow can i put on false eyelashes?
I just tried false eyelashes the other day, and was having a hard time also. The only way I got it on, was gettting my sister to put it on for me. Somehow when you put it on yourself, its really awkward, i tried a tweezer too, and helped a little, but still awkward. Just get someone to put them on for you, and then you can push them into your lashline, and put them in place! Hope I helped!
apply the glue to the edge of the lashes and leave it a few seconds until the glue is tacky. Then place the lashes carefully onto your eyelid, as cloe to your lash line as possible. Dont worry about trying to use tweezers or starting from the inside. Do what you feel is comfortable and just take your time. Oh and make sure there straight!! :)
Try double sided tape or heavy-duty glue.
Carefully
Get the glue, put it along the bottom of the eyelashes.
Using you hands, get both ends and stick them down.
Then gently, squidge the rest of the eyelashes down.
They shouldn't dry instantly, so you can just fiddle around with them until they're in the right place.
That's now I normally do it, I've never used tweezers! :)
Hope I've helped

Is it OK to apply false eyelashes to your kitten?
No, why would you do that? What if you hurt the cat's eyes?
Or something? And wouldn't that be hard to do? And you don't really need a cat with fake eyelashes.......that was an interestingly odd question though. Is it OK to apply false eyelashes to your kitten?
No.
Edit: I personally would consider that animal abuse. Just like the user below me said, animals are not dolls, they're not there for you to dress up and play with. Others have mentioned the possibilities of a bad reaction to the adhesive, or accidental swallowing. False eyelashes are a product meant for human use only. If you're ever in doubt, I would recommend not using anything for your pet that is not specific to their species. In some cases it might be ok, but it more than likely is not.
Not to mention the fact that it might claw your eyes out if you tried. Is it OK to apply false eyelashes to your kitten?
No.
The glue used to apply eyelashes is safe for human flesh, not kitty fur.
Plus kitties have their own ';eyelashes'; that are similar to whiskers - a means to feel their way around the world. If you add anything to a place so sensitive, you could seriously cause major damage to the cat's ability to actually function.
No way. Why on earth would anyone consider doing that? Take a picture of the kitten and add the ';eyelashes'; to the photo in photoshop. Just don't expose the kitten's eye to chemicals and adhesives. Geez.
No. They won't let you and they could have a bad reaction to the adhesive.
Please understand that cats are living beings, not dolls. Playing with them may seem cute but it is not fun for them.
Yes, unless they have ASKED you to, which they did not.
If you want false eyelashes, stick 'em on yourself, leave the cat alone.
If you want false eyelashes, why not get a doll? Silly putting them onto an animal because of your wants or likes. You could get the adhesive in her eye and cause problems.
You are kidding right? Next thing you know someone is gonna ask if permanent makeup )tattoo) would be a good idea for their infant?
No.The glue would irritate their skin and stick to their fur.
Why would you want to?
No. This would in no way benefit the kitten and may harm him, that's why.
no, they might get in its eyes or it will try to get them off and will eat them
Why would you want to?
why would you want to do that, i would consider that cruel
are you really seroius???
Are you nucking futs?
no

False eyelash advice please?
i am attending a very posh ball on saturday evening and would like to try some false eyelashes. has anyone any advice on the best ones to use? preferably some with a bit of ';staying power'; are the best ones the self adhesive ones or the ones you use with glue?
any help greatly appreciated. thankyou.False eyelash advice please?
Hi, Eyelure from boots are GREAT - they're really natural but still a talking point! and really easy to use. Put all your own make up on, including Mascara - glue onto the eye lashes. Close your eye and place fromt he outside corner in towards your nose. Use a wet cotton bud (so no fluff) to push into place. If necessary peel off and re-apply.
I never wore them till I went to a Casino night. Now I don't go out with out them.False eyelash advice please?
have u thought about getting them done at the salon? in my opinion much better. only costs 拢10 at my salon and u can choose the length, colour and so on.
p.s in personal experience, the DIY ones are best with glue...but its kinda tricky.
Fake eyelashes widen the eyes, can enhance the natural lashes and give a dramatic effect that could not be achieved otherwise. They are available in all colours, lengths and shapes. For a more subtle look, individual lashes or small clumps of lashes can be used. Synthetic fibres are usual, but sterilized human hairs can also be found. These are most commonly used by people who have lost their natural lashes.
deffinetly use glue its much better.
id advise to line your top eyelid with black liner then place the lashes on top. look down into a missor if possible, before putting on glue make sure you measure them t check they fit your eye
Then simply place the gluron the fake eyelashes and starting from the inside of the eye (near your nose)gently press down all the way to the end and wala you have fake eyelashes
