Will false eyelashes weaken your real ones?

I use individual false eyelashes on a daily basis because I think they really brighten up my eyes. However I have heard this is not such a good idea because the glue can weaken your eyelashes. I've had a traumatic incident where I've lost my real lashes when I accidentally tugged at my falsies and a bunch of my real ones ripped out with them. How can I make sure my false lashes won't continue to damage my real ones? How do I care for them ?Any advice please?Will false eyelashes weaken your real ones?
Stop using individuals. Regular ones work fine and the glue wont be in your lashes it will be above them...you should use less glue too! And be gentle when you remove them!Will false eyelashes weaken your real ones?
Umm, I hope not! I had to wear them for a play yesterday! It may be like weave (lol) you probably have to put them on right. I wouldn't put them on my eyelashes... I think you're suppose to put them above your real ones.
False eyelashes usually look false IMO. If you are not careful when you apply/remove false eyelashes you could end up pulling out/losing your real ones.
