Is anyone wearing false eyelashes on their wedding day?

I mean like the half strip on the outer part of your eyelashes, or individuals? I am assuming it would make your eyes stand out more in pictures if you don't overdo it, but is anyone else planning on doing this?

One concern of mine is that they will fall off when I cry or start dancing lol!Is anyone wearing false eyelashes on their wedding day?
....um, no way. Get a professional makeup artist to do your makeup instead. They will know how to highlight your eyes without making you look fake (just go get a trial done first to make sure they don't make you look like a clown if you don't already wear a lot of makeup on a regular basis.)

Your wedding day is about you looking and feeling comfortable, and I'm not sure fake eyelashes are going to make you look like yourself in your pics. You don't want to look back in 20 years and say ';What was I thinking?'; about your overdone lashes! :-) Good luck on your big day!Is anyone wearing false eyelashes on their wedding day?
Hey, I am in the beauty field and I am wearing faux lashes myself. It depends on what kind of lashes you are using. I know that you use baby oil to remove them but it depends on which kind you are using. Do a little research and see which has the best results.
I hadn't even thought about it, but I probably wouldn't because of similar concerns. I'm sure I'll be crying at some point during the ceremony and I wouldn't want that hassle.

Maybe if there's time you could put them on after the ceremony before pictures and before the reception? Just a thought.
No way! I'd be afraid it would be tacky! Just use good mascara and you'll be fine.
do it theare amazying but try it many times before the big day

MAC eyelashes best!
I am. I'm having my makeup professionally done that day for myself and my Matron of Honor. The false eyelashes are part of the makeup package but I'm sure they're not going to be overdone or drag queen looking. The pictures of the other brides she did looked beautiful and very classy.

I'm not worried about them falling off or anything either. We used to put those on all the time in beauty school and they really do stay on. I like the idea because you want to look like yourself, but you don't want to have your everyday makeup on your wedding day. Remember you'll have a photographer and minimal makeup really doesn't photograph that well.
Go for it! I did it and they looked great and did not fall. Just be sure you have it done by a professional if this is your first time putting them on. Or you could practice practice and practice. You will not regret it!
they don't fall of very easy at all! And if you are having a make up artist do your makeup she will know how to put them on correctly. The lashes from MAC are the best and the salesgirls there should be able to help you find the length and style that fits you best. If you choose the lash strips they will also cut them down to fit you perfectly so that you wont have to worry about that on your big day!

I have gone out, partied very hard, gone to bed, and woken up with my lashes still perfectly on before so don't worry about them falling off. But if you aren't used to putting them on I would defnitely make sure you get a professional to do that.

Oh, and the ones from MAC look very natural, the times I have worn them no one could tell they were fake at all!
No. I've never worn fake eyelashes (don't think I need them). I'm not doing anything drastic for the wedding because I want to look back on my pictures and see my husband and me - not some strange looking version of me.

If you wear them all the time then it should be fine. Though, like you said, I would be worried about them falling off.
I wore them, and they looked phenomenal. You totally couldn't tell they were fake. (I wore the strip ones, not the individual ones). Just make sure that you practice, practice, practice putting them on so you do them right, and they shouldn't come off when you cry (which I did a LOT of) or dance.
I did...and the result was great! I was really worried they'd fall off or look tacky...but I didn't even feel them and it made my eyes really stand out. I did not use the entire strip, just 3 of the individuals on each eye. You can always do a trial run to see how they feel. But, I say go for it!!
absolutely i did !!! have em put on by some1 and they wont fall off!! i got married in vegas in august and it was hot as heck!

stayed on alllll day into the night and next day!

have fun!!
I used false eyelashes to sort of bulk up my own. I had them done professionally and they looked awesome. The key is to get the lashes that are natural in origin (not those big plastic looking spider-leg ones!). Mine stayed on the entire night, in fact they were kind of a pain to remove...there was no fear that they were going to fall off at all.
No they won't you need water proof glue you will be fine. Just don't get the full ones they look fake and feel weird
I loved mine!! I had the make-up girl put on the individual ones. They looked awesome, not tacky at all!! They stayed on all night. They came off when I washed my face in the hotel that night.

If they are done professionally, they won't fall off.
DO IT! Both me and my sister used them on our wedding days. There are several styles of lashes you can get at makeup counters. I suggest going to a MAC or somewhere like that. They will apply them and do your make up if you want. There are lashes that are long and even throughout...these are good if you have dark hair and eyelashes. I used slightly shorter ones that were not all the same length, apparently these are supposed to look more natural. They kinda look like this ^~^~^...some are shorter some are longer, but naturally they get longer at the corner of your eye. If you go there they can cut them to match your natural eyelashes or cut them to the length you want them. They don't have to be super long to get the look you want. And as for crying....don't worry...if you go to a makeup counter they do this for a living....they'll stay on...I had mine on all day and into the next day and my sister cried at her wedding too and we didn't loose the lashes. They look amazing in photos too....just makes you eyes stand out a little more. Some of the best photos of us were the close up ones...you couldn't even tell they were fake. One word of caution...if you do them at home make sure you don't load on the adhesive, but apply enough so you know they'll stay. The woman who put mine on said the trick is to blow on them a little so that they don't slide around when you're trying to put them on. I had a full set of lashes and my sister only used a half of each lash. I also had liquid eyeliner so you couldn't see where they attached, but my sister didn't wear dark eyeliner and she looked amazing. So, all and all...go for it! Congrats!!
I'm not but I'm wearing a waterproof volumizing mascara!
