Yes, most all do. I don't think I've ever seen a mascara commercial that didn't have their girls wearing false lashes. If such a commercial did exist, I think I would be tempted to buy their product just for their honesty in advertizing. Is the girl on the mabelline mascara ad wearing false eyelashes?
Yes they do. You may notice that on the bottom of the ad it says ';filmed/photographed'; with lash inserts. This is basically a disclaimer, so there are no legal issues with misrepresentation, etc.

It's not false advertising, but it is a bit of an insult to people's intelligence.

hun i think on every advert for mascara all the models wear false eyelashes. its really wrong and its false advertising. makes people believe they're buying something they're not.
xxxxx
Yes she is and it's about time they put that 'model wears lash inserts' print on the advert!! Ever since mascara adverts have been on tv I have always pointed and shouted at the screen at the uber obviously false lashes the models wear. I don't know how they have got away with it for so long - it's false advertising!!
if you read the small print at the bottom it will say 'this ad was filmed with lash inserts' they film them all with fakes in which isnt fair realy to us ppl trying the products.
I think she is. It looks that way to me.
I think so but I am sure there's a small disclaimer on the bottom of the screen which states extensions have been used (I remember seeing it and thinking it was bit of a cheek!)
I reckon all the models on the mascara adverts wear fake eyelashes. I guess it's just a way to sell their product. On some of the adverts though, they do write at the bottom in teeny tiny writing that the models are indeed faking it.
If you look closely at some of the writing in the advert, it will say that some lash extentions have been used. It is the law now that they have to declare this when showing ads. Its all a con really, if you don't have long lashes naturally there isn't much you can do to make them extra, extra long except wear false ones.
my friend has eyelashes like that and she doesnt wear falsies.
she uses covergirl
yes she is and soon maybelline will have to state the fact she is wearing falsies - just as loreal does - if you notice in their hair ads they write t hat the models ar wearing hair extensions, and in their make up ads, it also states they are wearing false eyelashes
xx
I thought there was a disclaimer on screen when this ad shows.... it used to Say something about her wearing eyelash extensions!
I'm sure I read somewhere that max factor was taken to court in the UK because they were found to be using false individual lashes in thier adverts...and some hair product sellers put a disclaimer in tiny wording on screen too.
Yeah she is. I know exactly how you feel
It almost seems like a cheat?
obvvvvvvv
yes, read the bottom left corner
